March Madness is an event in the basketball community where all College basketball teams around the country compete in tournaments to determine what team is best in the country. It is like the World Series or the Super Bowl , but for basketball. The Madness begins the first day of March and teams in their division go against other teams of the same division such as East coast and West coast. The weekends consist of Espn annoncers broadcasting games and fans having their eyes glued to the screen to see if their team will continue on the thriling tournament known as March Madness. The sport's channel, ESPN, has the tournament on lock down and who is succeeding or failing in the games. I can walk into a bar or just a store and i can guarantee you the basketball game will be on T.V, due to the popularity of the tournament. When a person's team wins their game, Facebook turns into a feeding ground for bragging rights and showing their school pride. Merchandise for all the school's that have participated in the tournament are available on ESPN.com to purchase. March is definately a month of madness.(ESPN web)

The Big Apple!
Apple is a very well known and popular brand of technology that is used everyday in many different ways. Apple has broadened its use from just a type of computer business to downloading music, to phone and mp3 players and even all of them into one. The apple symbol is well known throughout the world and everyone knowes that it represents apple company.
When you look around for even just a second, im sure you will catch an ipod or the hip new iphone that any who is anyone has. The new phone can explore the interenet, take pictures, and listen to music where and whenever you want. The company is still coming out with new technologies and devices to broaden the world's use of technology.
Anyone can use the devices , due the simplicity of them and there is never an age limit , but the devices can be very pricey due to their demand and popularity in society. Some people may not like the iphone or the devices because of the popularity in soceiety and choose to be different and not be like everyone else.Some cultures may not even have phones or have electricity such as amish and don't believe in popular culture and like to stick with there traditional living.

Hip New Thing!!!
Katy Perry is a popular well known artist and has become well known for her hit new singles. She became popular with her single,"I kissed a girl" and her career soared from there. She was climbing the charts with her hit new singles, such as " ET", "Firework", and "teenage dream." Katy is a very strong indivdual and it shows through her music with her unique sense of style. Katy expressed her individuality at the Grammy's with her blue dress and crystals that matched her blue hair as well. She looked classy and elegant as she glided down the aisle,even with her blue hair.
Her song's express feelings and emotions that girls experience everyday and just do not say anything about it. In her lyric's in "teenage dream", she talks about her high school sweet heart and being in love and having fun. " we can dance until we die,you and i will be young forever,you make me feel like im living a teenage dream," she basically is talking about how in love she is with the guy she is with and he makes her feel so young and gitty.
In her music video for teenage dream, she bascially displays what she sings about in her video. They are on the beach having fun and katy is kissing her boyfriend. It displays a summer love when she was a teenager and have fun while you can and don't regret anything. Katy is young beautiful confident women who needs a guy that can keep up with her. In her video she describes the summer love everyone dreams about having.

Pretty Little Liars has become a new thrilling hit on ABC family. The show is filled with excitement and adrenaline, and mysteries that keep you guessing,"who did it?" Every episode releases a new clue to who A could be. The show is based on the series,Pretty Little Liars.
Aria,Spencer,Emily and Hannah have been getting annoymous texts from a person named as "A",because there friend Allison was found dead and they are determined to figure out who killed her. When allison was alive she was the ruler of the group and very controling. Allison had an ememy, who tried to take her title of ruler of the school. Jenna, was never nice to allison and was the only person to make her insecure,which allison hated and wanted to get rid of her. One night the girls, were over at jenna's house in her garage and accidently caught her garage on fire, but what they didn't know was that jenna was in there. Jenna ended up burning her eyes and going blind due to the fire. Now the girl's feel responsible for jenna's
accident.
"A" now texts the girls with clues saying he or she knowes the accident that happened and threatens to tell the police. A makes them do things the girls do not want to do in order to keep their secret hidden even if means hurting the ones they love. The girls are determined to figure out what happened to Allison and each episode gets them closer to finding the answer and last episode left with Allison hidding from A as well and having a second identity.
The show keeps you on your toes with mysteries and liars behind every door. The girls have to watch there every move because someone else is watching them as well. Aria has to keep her secret from her parents about dating her teacher and now her friends as well. Hannah as to go to school with her stepsister who isn't so pleasant,emily is having dating problems with her partner mia and her mom, and spencer had to tell her boyfriend she couldn't be with him anymore in order to assure his safety from A.
As the show goes on more leeks come out to who A could be or what they want you to link who it could be. With A releasing new clues and the girls getting closer to who A is and who killed allison, the stakes go hire and more is at risk to the mystery. Every Monday at 8pm, I am hooked to watching the show and finding out new clues to the mystery.
